This cut through concertina book with a red leash woven through it, was inspired by my little dogs who lead dual lives: loving calm domesticated pets one moment and instinctive wild animals the next. Under a huge old beech tree on a forest walk was the entrance to a deep den which interested them greatly and made me wonder what could have happened if I had not stopped them from going down the hole...
