ARTIST PROFILE

Illustrator, author and printmaker.  Based in the rural Lincolnshire wolds, my practice includes a broad range of media including watercolour, pen and ink, collage and printing.

 I delight in working with children, and on collaborative projects, and have previously illustrated a set of 3 picture books for autistic children about the adventures of a  dinosaur called 'Roar' who sees the world differently.

As a wildlife watch leader with the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, I am constantly reminded of the beauty and wonder of the natural world around us, and the thrill of discovering it for the first time through the eyes of the children we teach.

I enjoy creating colourful, funny  memorable, stories for children that encourage a love and respect for our precious planet and each other. 

Hope for the future, the power of positive thinking, and strong ethical messages, are the themes that I am passionate about sharing through the medium of children's picture books.
